About Alzheimer's Society
Alzheimer’s society is the Uk,s leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. We provide information and support to people with any form of dementia and their carers through our publications, National dementia helpline, website, and more than 2,000 local services. We campaign for better quality of life for people with dementia and greater understanding of dementia. We also fund an innovation programme of medical and social research in to the cause, cure and prevention of dementia and the care people receive.
Our dementia advisor and dementia support worker offer one to one support so that people with dementia can discuss their situation and receive appropriate information and support in comfortable and confidential surroundings.

Face to Face
We provide a face to face service at a venue to suit the person needing the support

Our helpline 0300 222 1122 is open seven days per week with a team of trained advisors ready to provide you with information and support you need.
Wednesday 9.00am- 5.00pm
Other Services We Provide
Talking point is an on line support and discussion forum for anyone affected by dementia. It is a place to ask for advice, share information, join in discussions and feel supported. www.alzheimers.org.uk/talkingpoint

Home Visiting Service
A home visiting service is offered to anyone who may be worried about their memory or have a diagnosis of dementia or anyone who carse for a person with dementia
