Saving Money on Your Energy Bills

Stockton on Tees Borough Council are hosting a drop in event on Wednesday 11th October 2pm-4pm to help residents sign up to the Big Community Switch. The event will be held in Stockton Central Library and is open for anyone interested in saving money on their gas and electricity bills.

The Big Community Switch is easy to use and it’s open to all residents, including those who rent or have a prepayment or key card meter. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals across the Borough to band together and save money on their gas and electricity bills - last autumn the average annual saving for residents was £214.

From Monday 23 October individuals who registered will receive a personal offer and can then make a decision whether to switch to the winning supplier. There is no cost or obligation for residents to register or accept the personal offer received.

If you’re interested, bring along your annual energy statement or recent gas and electricity bill and one of our team will be happy to sign you up on the day.
