Take the 15 minute challenge...

The Home and Energy Advice Centre has opened its doors for help and advice with energy matters.

Through one centre, you can access a host of services who can assist with cutting down costs.

The Centre is asking anyone to walk in and take a challenge which only takes 15 minutes. In this time, you can have your current energy costs compared to see whether you can save money on your gas and electricity bill.

Howard, an Energy Adviser at the Centre states: "We want to people to pop in and take the challenge. The majority of visitors have saved money. This morning, we had a man who was paying £600 a year. This has now been reduced by £140".

If you do wish to take up the challenge, please try and bring your latest electric and gas bill.
