About NHS Stop Smoking Service

Stopping smoking is one of the single most beneficial things that you can do for your health. We know that quitting smoking isn’t always easy. People who receive support from their local stop smoking service find it easier to stop and are four times more likely to stay smokefree. Our team of specialist advisers have lots of experience in helping people to quit smoking.

The stop smoking service provides a comprehensive range of free, friendly and confidential support across Teesside.

We run stop smoking drop in sessions (Community Drop Ins) at a variety of convenient community venues including evenings and weekends. There are also a number of pharmacies that can offer stop smoking treatments along with various GP practices.
