Stockton Welfare Advice Network (SWAN) provides free information on a range of issues affecting the people living in Stockton Borough. There are 16 categories of information to choose from including benefits, housing, debt, and health. 

SWAN is part of Stockton and District Advice and Information Service.

We have collated the best information and guides within each section and supplied links to useful tools and resources including sample complaint letters, benefit calculators and factsheets. If you still need help, you can use our Local Directory to locate an advice service near you. 

SWAN brings together local advice agencies to work in partnership to share information and good practice with an aim to improve advice services for the benefit of local residents.
