New online help for Carers
The Carers’ Hub is a new online service for all Carers which brings together a range of information, advice and services for people who provide care and support to a friend or a family member in Stockton. The Carers’ Hub provides 24-hour online access to relevant information and includes:
The Carers’ Self-Assessment whichwill help you to see how caring affects your life, identify what is important to you and what you value about your caring role, and identify any changes that could improve your own wellbeing and quality of life. It will also point you in the right direction for getting support to help you in your caring role.
The Carers’ Wellbeing Wheel which helps you to find information, advice and services to help you in your caring role, including emotional support, finance and benefits, support groups and respite for carers.
The Carers’ Register which enables you to have your role as a Carer recognised and helps us to provide you with useful information, including newsletters, information on relevant groups and events.
