Health & Social Care
We may all need health and social care in our life. The following pages give you information and advice about different services and include information about charges and when you may qualify for assistance and what to do if things go wrong.
This section also gives you links to information on what is available to help you remain at home and guidance to help you make choices about care homes and more long term care (see under SOCIAL CARE).
Carers are often affected by health and social care services and are essential for helping others access health and social care services so we have also provided a section specifically for carers.
There is further information about looking after someone's affairs and finances in our FAMILY AND RELATIONSHIPS section. Information on what benefits are available for carers and the cared for is available in our BENEFITS section.
